Since joining SMU in 2008, he’s taught digital journalism, technology reporting, and investigative reporting while coordinating digital student media operations. His book, Engaged Journalism: Connecting with Digitally Empowered News Audiences, examines the changing relationship between journalists and the audiences they serve.
